Did you miss that story about how texting doesn’t cost the phone companies anything? When i switched from the iPhone 3G to the iPhone 4, somehow my texting plan got changed. I was suddenly on a plan that charged me five cents for every message over my “plan”. This was another 30 or 40 dollars apparently. If we already pay for internet and phone service, we should not be paying for texts.
