For years the internet has been the place to see some crazy photoshopped images of people in places they shouldn’t/couldn’t be. Having the ability to put your face into an existing scene was one thing, making it look natural and real was quite another. Most of the time it just comes out wrong and that’s where PhotoFunia shines.
This app is so easy to use and delivers such amazing results, it’s mind boggling they aren’t charging for it. To top it off, they continue to add additional images to the app for you play around with. Once you launch the app you can choose to take a picture of someone or select one from your photo library. Then scroll through all the choices and select the one you like. Then just tap and wait to see the magic.
The proprietary technology automatically identifies the face in the photo and blends it into the scene naturally. The majority of the results are spectacular and convincing. A few of the images that put you inside another person can look a little off, but the ones that put your image on surfaces are flawless.
There are so many creative places to stick your face, pet, and logo that you could spend hours putting your face on everything from Time Square billboards to a bottle of beer. Art Galleries, Subway platforms, chalkboards and a lot of other fun places keep the app feeling fresh no matter how many times you use it.
The developers have a web version with even more features and the Android app is in development.
