Mobile Air Mouse rocks the iPad!One of my favorite apps for the iPhone has been the Mobile Air Mouse. This is the perfect solution for using your Macbook or any computer hooked up to a TV. The app allows you to use the touchscreen on your phone as a trackpad and even has a full keyboard that can slide in for typing. Over time the app was updated to include a TON of great amazing features and they even dropped the price and offered a FREE version. I finally installed it on the iPad and it works great in pixel doubled mode as a giant trackpad for your computer or laptop. The iPhone version sells for $1.99 and there is a new iPad version for 3.99 but the early reviews on the iPad version are pointing out a few issues. you may be better off going with the iPhone version and putting it on the ipad since it’s got more features and works fine in double pixel mode. Mobile Air Mouse has been the app I’ve used most often since getting my iPhone 3G two years ago. The Mobile Air Mouse works by turning your touchscreen device (ipod touch, iphone, iPad) into a keyboard/mouse combo for your PC or Mac. A small server program running on your computers will allow your device to function both as a traditional mouse or as a gyroscopic mouse. The gyroscope version doesn’t work as well as the trackpad does but this app does an incredible job of replacing a standard keyboard and mouse for your computer connected to the television.
