If you want an ipad but feel the lack of a real keyboard is holding you back, go blue. I have the Apple aluminum bluetooth keyboard and the iPad found it. After having me type in a passcode on the keyboard, it sync’d up. In fact, I’m writing this post using the keyboard. The picture was taken by my iphone and then posted through the tumblr app on there. Remember, if the iPad had a camera on it you wouldn’t be able to take pictures of it! (Unless you use a mirror) If it’s multi-tasking that has you down, perhaps there is a software update in our future…maybe June?
Mobile Air Mouse has been the app I’ve used most often since getting my iPhone 3G two years ago. The Mobile Air Mouse works by turning your touchscreen device (ipod touch, iphone, iPad) into a keyboard/mouse combo for your PC or Mac. A small server program running on your computers will allow your device to function both as a traditional mouse or as a gyroscopic mouse. The gyroscope version doesn’t work as well as the trackpad does but this app does an incredible job of replacing a standard keyboard and mouse for your computer connected to the television.
